Music production was a natural progression for Ms. Baptista, who as a singer composed and performed material ranging from arias and gospel hymns to soulful ballads and show tunes. Ms. Baptista trained extensively in voice and performance and received a Bachelor’s degree from Shaw University in North Carolina. She has produced, written and directed numerous concerts, plays and events throughout the New York area for clients such as MasterCard International, JP Morgan Chase, American Legacy Magazine, Alpha Kappa Sorority, Yale University Hospital, The Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Stamford Center for the Arts and many others. More recently, members of Lewis and Kirk Company have been featured at the Waldorf Astoria Celebrating Denzel Washington, Bobby Valentine’s Sports Extravaganza and at the Audubon Ballroom honoring Malcolm X.
